Engineering Assistant Manager

Hyatt Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for assisting the Engineering Manager in ensuring the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and oversee the building's mechanical equipment and engineering staff.
- Manage engineering operations and coordinate with Senior Managers to ensure hotel needs and functions are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to guest complaints and needs.
- Develop and implement the department's Back of the House preventive maintenance program.
- Drive initiatives for energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Perform maintenance checks of equipment and logs properly.
- Attend Daily Operations Meetings and direct supervise of the Engineering Crews.
- College Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management or advanced technical vocational training.
- Technical knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration systems, fire main systems, sprinklers, water/waste treatment or hydraulics.
- Ability to troubleshoot effectively and possess good problem-solving skills.
- Computer skills and experience in a hotel in a similar role.
- Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.
