About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at EPAM. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of our production systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of production stability and problem resolution during core business hours
  • Be responsible for the readiness and effective operation of production and development environments
  • Participate in on-call rotations and investigate complex issues
  • Identify and manage risks, flagging major issues early and escalating incidents as required
  • Drive results, productivity, quality, and value for our clients
  • Deploy patches and full stack deployments into production
  • Conduct regular DR testing and improve the process
  • Play a proactive role in proposing technologies, tools, and approaches

Requirements

  • Strong MS SQL knowledge with experience in interrogating data stores and investigating data sets
  • PowerShell or similar scripting experience
  • Experience in C# is highly desirable
  • RDBMS optimization skills would be a plus
  • Knowledge of OOP languages is a plus
  • Wide interest in Windows and general technology with the ability to turn your hand to many different technical problems
