We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Idemia. As a key member of our production platform team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high availability and performance of our critical production platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain the production environment to ensure optimal system health and availability.
- Recover platforms during production incidents and perform detailed root cause analysis to prevent future issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges and support escalation.
- Maintain platforms after go-live by measuring and monitoring their availability, performance, and overall system health.
- Document knowledge and best practices to improve change velocity and reliability.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience using Linux as the main platform on a daily basis.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Technical Support Role (Level 2 or Level 3).
- Experience in using different VPN Clients to connect to various customer premises via SSH.
- Experience in creating bash scripts to automate tasks in Linux.
- Experience in troubleshooting Linux Servers (CPU, Memory, Disk Space Management, System Log Analysis).
- Competent in troubleshooting Networking problems (Firewall rules, IP routes, VPN connection).
- Competent in managing MySQL Databases (performing backups, retrieving data, inserting data, debugging performance problems).
- Docker.
- Pacemaker.
- Kubernetes.
- Ansible.
- Azure or AWS.
- Python.
- MySQL InnoDB Cluster.
- Git / Bitbucket.
- Microservices Architecture.
