Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at EPAM. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of our Quant and Enterprise Technology systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of production stability and problem resolution during core business hours
  • Ensure the readiness and effective operation of production and development environments
  • Participate in on-call rotations and investigate complex issues
  • Identify and manage risks, escalating incidents as required
  • Deploy patches and full stack deployments into production
  • Conduct regular DR testing and improve the process
  • Play a proactive role in proposing technologies, tools, and approaches
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in creating, improving, and/or supporting technology systems
  • Strong MS SQL knowledge and ability to interrogate data stores
  • Strong PowerShell or similar scripting experience
  • Experience in C# is highly desirable
  • RDBMS optimization skills would be a plus
  • Knowledge of OOP language is a plus
  • Wide and inquisitive interest in Windows and general technology
  • Automation first mindset with an interest in improving efficiency of processes and systems
  • Experience working with RESTful services, SQL databases, AMQP
  • Previous experience with Bitbucket, Control-M, Grafana, Jira, Octopus, TeamCity, or similar technologies
