Job Title: Jigs and Tools Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Jigs and Tools Engineer to join our team at Airbus Illescas Plant. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the industrialization of Jigs and Tools assets for the A350F Main Deck Cargo Door manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure successful industrialization of Jigs and Tools assets, including creation, development, and modification, until final acceptance and handover to the Operations Manager.
  • Integrate mature industrial technologies in link with RD to support the development of innovative manufacturing solutions.
  • Collaborate with RD to integrate requirements and consolidate Airbus Industrial Vision.
  • Design, test, and industrialize future tooling concepts for future Airbus programs, mainly in S6 high-integrated manufacturing solutions.
  • Design and/or specify Jigs and Tools assets according to requirements from Manufacturing.
  • Ensure the provided solution is fully integrated within the industrial system through a robust acceptance process set on defined Key Performance Indicators.
  • Provide JT solutions based on 3D printing.
  • Integrate Maintenance inputs/feedback in JT Work Specification and delivered solutions.
  • Support Finance activities to elaborate the CapEx and/or OpEx dossier.
  • Support Plant in all activities where a Jig and/or Tool asset is involved.
  • Support root cause analysis of Non-Conformities and improvement projects.
  • Deliver technical disposition to fix JT.
  • Contribute to the purchasing phases of the Jigs and Tools assets.
Requirements:
  • Manufacturing technologies of aerostructures in composites.
  • More than 3 years of experience required.
  • Design and deliver tooling for composites materials.
  • More than 3 years of experience required.
  • Tooling for aircraft component assembly will be valued.
  • Design capabilities in CATIA V5.
  • More than 3 years of experience required.
  • 3DExperience knowledge will be valued.
  • Fluent English written and spoken is a must.
  • Project management with external providers.
  • More than 3 years of experience is required.
