Associate Project Engineer - Data Centre Construction - Madrid

Our client, a leading developer of multi-customer and hyperscale data centres in Europe and Asia-Pacific, has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Project Engineer to join their current project in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set Client Technical Requirement (CTR) briefs for new projects.
  • Participate in the identification and remediation of actual and latent defects in technical services infrastructure.
  • Undertake regular independent assessments of data centre technical services infrastructure's integrity.
  • Assist in developing capital project programs and budgets for new equipment and major repairs.
  • Participate in a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Review and evaluate technical designs produced by external design teams.
  • Identify design key risks and ensure they form part of a project risk register.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Engineering Degree or acceptable Engineering Diploma.
  • Knowledge of power and cooling systems in a data centre setting.
  • Understanding of data centre design parameters and efficiency metrics.
  • Business fluent in English with vocal and written skills with specific engineering terminology.
