About the Role

Precision Medicine Group is a leading precision medicine Contract Research Organization (CRO). Our company is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Operational Strategy and Planning to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational strategy and planning for clinical trials, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical, business development, and proposal colleagues, to drive operational strategy and planning initiatives.
  • Provide operational strategy input and text for proposals, ensuring robust strategic, operational, scientific, medical, and clinical development planning.
  • Develop and refine study budgets, working closely with project management and clinical trial management teams.
  • Mentor and train colleagues in aspects of strategy and budgeting for clinical research.
  • Represent Precision Medicine Group in client meetings, supporting capabilities presentations and client interactions.
  • Provide feasibility and competitive landscape direction input, and support for bid defense meetings.
Requirements
  • Advanced medical degree or Ph.D.
  • 12+ years of experience in the CRO/pharmaceutical industry or equivalent relevant experience and/or demonstrated competencies.
  • Experience in operational strategy analysis and budget review, with a strong understanding of clinical trial operations.
  • Strong analytical thinking, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment, with a strong sense of ownership and pride in quality of outputs.
