Senior Technical Consultant

Join OpenText, a global leader in Enterprise Information Management, as a Senior Technical Consultant in Configuration Management. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering advanced IT solutions to our clients by analyzing business needs and designing and implementing technology strategies.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT Service Management strategies that align with client business objectives
- Provide tailored IT Configuration Management solutions
- Lead the technical implementation of large-scale CMDB projects
- Oversee the deployment of cloud-based solutions to reduce infrastructure costs and enhance system performance
- Conduct detailed system analysis and integration to ensure seamless operation between legacy and new technologies
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 3+ years in IT service management or a related field, with proven experience with ITIL frameworks and best practices
- Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, C++), databases (SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL), tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins), and platforms (Windows, Linux, macOS)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build client relationships
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken), with additional proficiency in German or French highly valued
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in large-scale implementations of Configuration Management Database solutions such as OpenText UCMDB, BMC Helix CMDB, ServiceNow CMDB, and others
- Certifications (Preferred): ITIL 4, COBIT 5, TOGAF 9, AWS Certified Solutions Architect
