Job Summary

Msig Insurance Europe Ag is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Management Assistant to join our Casualty team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day service and support to our clients, brokers, and underwriters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day service and support of existing and new clients, including contact and communication with brokers.
  • Provide technical and operational support to underwriters from submission receipt to binding order.
  • Work closely with the Underwriting Team to ensure seamless policy administration and issue policy documentation, including wordings, certificates, endorsements, debit notes, and payment bordereaux.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to avoid inconsistencies and enhance the cash-matching process.
  • Support the Claims Team with policy numbers, risk locations, MSIG net retention, etc.
  • Proactively drive operational improvement and further development of existing processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of the Casualty business field is essential; multiline knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in the Insurance Industry with a solid understanding of the Insurance policy lifecycle, ideally in an operational or project role.
  • Good Spanish and English language skills.
  • (Re)insurance technical skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with policy administration systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Teamwork abilities and capacity to handle increased workload during key renewal periods.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Advanced Excel user with financial reporting experience.
