Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join our client's dynamic team working on a cutting-edge data centre project.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Develop Electrical Systems: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for electrical and instrumentation systems in data centre projects.
  2. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Integrate E&I systems seamlessly into project designs and specifications, working closely with other teams to achieve project goals.
  3. Conduct Site Assessments and Inspections: Evaluate the feasibility and efficiency of proposed E&I solutions, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  4. Oversee Installation, Testing, and Commissioning: Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards for E&I systems, from installation to testing and commissioning.
  5. Provide Technical Support and Guidance: Offer expertise and guidance to project teams and stakeholders on E&I-related matters, resolving issues and discrepancies as needed.
  6. Maintain Accurate Documentation: Record and document E&I activities, including drawings, specifications, and test reports, to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  1. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant trades background.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering or instrumentation roles, preferably within the construction or data centre industry.
  3. Strong electrical background with expertise in designing and implementing electrical systems.
  4. Proficiency in Spanish language is required to effectively communicate with local stakeholders and contractors.
  5. Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing electrical and instrumentation systems.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
