We are seeking a highly motivated and talented researcher to join our team at the Vall d'Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) as a Predoctoral Researcher in Neuromuscular and Mitochondrial Diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate in the generation, management, and biochemical/molecular characterization of genetically modified mice.
- Design and conduct in vivo and in vitro preclinical assays for complex I deficiency.
- Write manuscripts and present results at local and international meetings.
- Contribute to the general shared tasks of the laboratory.
- Bachelor's (300 ECTS credits) or Master's Degree in biomedical sciences (or equivalent).
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- High motivation, reliability, and initiative.
- Strong scientific curiosity.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Good organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
