Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at The St. Regis Mardavall Mallorca Resort. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional massage services to our guests, utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities to promote relaxation and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide massage services to guests using props and/or products, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
  • Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications before beginning service, prioritizing their health and safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with current techniques and modalities related to massage therapy, continuously improving your skills and knowledge.
  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
  • Arrange workstations, treatment rooms, and drapes to create a serene and inviting atmosphere.
  • Check with guests frequently to promote comfort, safety, and security throughout the service.
  • Promote and sell spa/salon services, including retail offerings related to the Spa, to enhance the guest experience.
  • Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools, maintaining a high level of hygiene and sanitation.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of workstations and treatment rooms throughout the shift, disposing of trash and dirty linens, and securing supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Monitor and adhere to time schedules throughout the day, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Handle inappropriate guest behavior in accordance with Marriott International's standard operating procedures, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all guests and staff.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, completing safety training and certifications as required.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language, developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues.
Requirements
  • State or Regional Massage License
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience
