About the Role

BICS is a leading international communications enabler, connecting the world through reliable and secure mobile experiences. As a System and Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, integrating, and supporting advanced telecommunication solutions in the voice, roaming, messaging, signalling, and IoT domains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the entire project life cycle of in-house developed solutions, from testing to launch into production, and support and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with software developer engineers and adopt a DevOps mindset to automate operations tasks, respond to emergencies, and monitor service availability.
  • Participate in the design, development, integration, and support of advanced telecommunication solutions.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Technical knowledge of telecommunication protocols, voice and mobile core networks.
  • Programming languages (Java, C) and scripting skills.
  • Hands-on experience in Linux OS environments.
  • Familiarity with computer networks and protocols.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools.
