The Role:

In this pivotal position, you will oversee the management, planning, organization, and administration of all Line Maintenance operations at our designated bases. You will serve as the primary liaison for all maintenance-related matters.

Your responsibilities will include representing Panasonic Maintenance Services in high-level discussions with clients, addressing service levels, contractual matters, and emerging service challenges, while coordinating with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate staff, ensuring optimal performance and managing hiring and termination processes.
  • Supervise team members responsible for program maintenance and daily operations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee administrative tasks including work schedules, training programs, and standardized reporting.
  • Ensure all personnel receive appropriate training and understand their responsibilities.
  • Collect and present relevant information and metrics to clients and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and reporting.
  • Report chronic maintenance issues and system failures to the Maintenance Operations Center.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements and collaborate with regulatory agencies.
  • Manage labor needs and the establishment of new stations within the region.
  • Facilitate union meetings on behalf of the company.
  • Ensure compliance with Line Maintenance standards and procedures.
  • Review maintenance practices to ensure adherence to FAA policies.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance for ongoing station audits and compliance with certification requirements.
  • Oversee service delivery to clients, ensuring contractual obligations are met efficiently.
  • Manage dispatch reliability for serviced aircraft.
  • Work with third-party maintenance organizations to ensure service agreements are fulfilled.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Operations Center to resolve chronic aircraft issues promptly.
  • Ensure effective media loading within your area of responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • Valid A&P, EASA, or equivalent regional licensing.
  • Proven experience in Airline Line Maintenance, with at least two years in an Electronic/Avionics environment.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with direct responsibility for team management.
  • Ability to analyze diverse situations and data, considering various factors and current business trends.
  • Proficient in recommending policy changes and establishing effective procedures.
  • Capable of managing departmental activities with accountability for results.

Skills:

  • Proficient in computer applications including Windows, Word, Excel, and email.
  • Experience in Line Maintenance projects is advantageous.
  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of financial controls and budgeting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to deliver impactful presentations at high-level meetings.
  • Ability to manage operations on a 24/7 basis.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 30% annually.
  • Must pass comprehensive security and background checks.
  • Valid driver's license and compliance with airport authority requirements.
