About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Retail Design Manager to join our team at Puig. As a key member of our retail design team, you will be responsible for managing and designing projects of spaces "shop in shop" in wholesale environments, coordinating our portfolio of luxury fragrance brands, and ensuring that all projects meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage layout proposals for brands and markets, taking into account global space distribution and local market needs.
  • Design and coordinate the space fixtures distribution and details, working closely with brands and internal teams.
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring that deadlines are met and budgets are respected.
  • Interact with all parties, including brands and markets, and lead projects independently, managing key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Schedule freight and installations for each site, working with agency partners and local teams as needed.
  • Manage full retail team deliverables within set timelines and budgets.
  • Manage the flow of project information between all stakeholders, including regular meetings and written communications.
  • Identify and resolve issues that can adversely impact project schedules, costs, or design integrity.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar role for retail.
  • Equipped with a degree in architecture, interior design, or industrial design.
  • Highly skilled in AutoCAD and proficient in illustrator and 3D modeling programs.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and on tight timelines.
  • An organizational powerhouse who can prioritize work and juggle responsibilities.
  • An excellent communicator with strong soft skills.
  • Experienced in working with cross-functional teams within and outside of the company.
  • A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle.
  • Deep interest in beauty or luxury category; previous experience in the luxury sector is highly appreciated.
