We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team of finance and risk experts at Oliver Wyman. As a leading management consulting firm, we provide deep industry knowledge and specialized expertise to help our clients optimize their business, improve their operations, and accelerate their organizational performance.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced professionals with a strong background in finance and risk management to join our team. As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with clients to identify and address complex financial and risk management challenges. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from governance and organization to technical and regulatory work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement finance and risk governance frameworks and organizational structures
  • Develop credit analytics for banks, including loss estimation, stress testing, regulatory modeling, customer targeting, and business growth
  • Provide regulatory compliance and dialogue services, including Basel 2/3, EMIR, and Dodd-Frank
  • Manage liquidity and funding risk, and develop strategic balance sheet management and asset/liability risk strategies
  • Articulate risk appetite at the board and executive committee level, and embed risk into the business
  • Conduct cutting-edge loan-level mortgage analytics and forecasting, and design and implement conduct risk management frameworks
  • Manage counterparty credit risk for large derivative traders, and develop strategic cost management and post-merger integration strategies
  • Develop operational and non-financial risk measurement and management frameworks, and assess and refine risk culture
  • Design and implement risk measurement frameworks, including economic capital and value-at-risk
  • Conduct climate stress testing, and develop ESG data strategies

Requirements
  • 2-9 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier consulting firm, Big 4, or a bank
  • Specific credit risk analytics experience is preferred
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to take the initiative and seek out opportunities to learn new skills
  • Ability to work fluidly and respectfully with our talented team
