Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect the company's assets and mitigate liabilities
- Analyze and critique risk allocation, indemnity, insurance, and other contract provisions
- Negotiate and implement insurance and reinsurance placement structures, including captive or alternative finance and transfer mechanisms
- Develop and advise on the implementation of risk and insurance policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize risk management initiatives
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in insurance, risk management, or a related field
- Professional certification in risk management or insurance (e.g. ACII, CMIRM, SIRM, CPCU)
- Minimum 12 years of experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical industry, or a major corporate organization
- Significant relevant corporate risk and insurance expertise acquired from industry, international broking, risk management, or insurance company background
