Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Data Scientist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, model, and drive data-driven insights that enhance decision-making and create strategic advantages. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working on the latest applications of data science to solve business problems in the Retail, CPG, and Manufacturing space.
• Designing and implementing advanced predictive models to analyze trends and behaviors in the Retail CPG and Manufacturing sectors.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across data engineering, product, and business teams to understand objectives and provide data-driven solutions.
• Developing data models and pipelines to support analytical and machine-learning initiatives.
• Leveraging domain knowledge in Retail CPG and Manufacturing to produce insights and identify growth opportunities.
• Preparing and presenting insights, recommendations, and data findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintaining best practices in data science and machine learning, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Collaborating, coaching, and learning with a growing team of experienced Data Scientists.
• Staying connected with external sources of ideas through conferences and community engagements.
• Supporting demands from regulators, investor relations, etc., to develop innovative solutions to meet objectives utilizing cutting-edge techniques and tools.

Requirements
• 9-10+ years of strong hands-on work experience in Manufacturing.
• Ability to lead domain conversations on a solution consulting angle.
• Proficiency in Spanish Language.
• Proficient in Python (pipeline creation, pytest, data manipulation with Pandas, etc.), R, SQL.
• Strong understanding of machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling.
• Knowledge of typical data sets available and ability to make recommendations by performing EDA upfront and suggest strategies around overall Data Wrangling and cleanup.
• Domain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the Retail CPG industry, especially Smart Manufacturing Experience.
• Familiarity with industry-specific Data Systems - Manufacturing Control Tower, Manufacturing Systems around Global Shop Floor Tools, MES, historian, SAP, etc.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data insights to a variety of audiences.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• CI/CD Practices: Experience with continuous integration and deployment practices is a plus.
• Experience with model deployment and monitoring is a plus.
• Bias for action, with the ability to deliver outstanding results through task prioritization and time management.
• Be proactive, curious, can-do attitude, flexible personality.
