Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Hewlett Packard. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems.
  • Design and conduct experiments, tests, and analyses to develop machine learning models.
  • Leverage large language models to extract insights and automate text generation for business applications.
  • Collaborate with architects, data engineers, software engineers, and product managers to integrate AI solutions into products and services.
  • Perform data wrangling, cleaning, and preprocessing to ensure high-quality data for ML models.
  • Build and maintain predictive models, optimizing their performance for accuracy, scalability, and interpretability.
  • Monitor and validate model performance, fine-tuning and retraining as necessary to improve results.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in AI and machine learning technologies and incorporate them into ongoing projects.
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise reports and visualizations.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical guidelines in the handling of data and development of data-driven models.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data science (developing machine learning models).
  • Proficiency in programming languages, with Python being our go-to language.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries.
  • Experience working with large language models, fine-tuning pre-trained models, and applying them to real-world NLP tasks.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of data preprocessing techniques and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest AI advancements.
  • Familiarity with ethical considerations and best practices in AI development.
  • Relevant certifications in Data, ML, Software, or cloud platforms are a plus.
  • Fluency in English (equivalent to C1 or higher).
