Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our development team. As a Backend Software Engineer, you will work closely with our experienced development team and product managers to design, develop, and maintain our APIs and web applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the development team to ideate and build impressive financial features
  • Design, develop, and maintain our APIs and web applications for maximum robustness, scalability, and security
  • Test all new features and enhancements to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Document code to ensure the team is fully aligned

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Backend or Full Stack engineer using Javascript/Typescript
  • Experience scaling distributed systems with large data volumes
  • Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and coding best practices
  • Passion for high-quality code and a quality culture
  • Highly organized and able to adjust priorities with great attention to detail
  • Team player with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with our tech stack: React, Redux, Storybook, NodeJS, Express, Cypress, Jest, MongoDB, Python, GCP, Gitlab CI/CD
  • Experience with CI/CD processes and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of tracking test coverage tools and quality monitoring
  • Previous experience in the financial industry or fintechs
  • International experience and additional languages
