About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data and AI Coach to join our Artificial Intelligence (AI) Enablement team at BASF SE. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving the AI transformation at BASF and serving as the backbone of the Analytics & AI Community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver theoretical and hands-on coaching and training sessions to employees of varying levels, domains, and backgrounds.
  • Facilitate practical training sessions in data analysis, machine learning, and AI applications.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of the academy's curriculum based on participant needs and industry trends.
  • Monitor and assess participant progress, providing constructive feedback and personalized guidance.
  • Collaborate with the academy team to ensure the program is effective, up-to-date, and engaging.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of post-program support and resources.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in Data and AI and change management.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology with a focus on Data Analysis, Data Science, or Data Engineering, or a related field, with at least 4-5 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • A Master's degree or PhD in Business Information Technology with a focus on Data Analysis, Data Science, or Data Engineering, or a related field, with at least 1 year of non-academic work experience in a similar role.
  • Additional prior teaching experience would be advantageous.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years' experience in a data or AI role, with experience in coaching or education preferred.
  • A proven track record in implementing AI or data-centered projects.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and AI concepts, proficiency in Python.
  • A good understanding of requirements and learning needs in data-driven business use cases.
  • Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities in driving Data & AI driven learning/enablement initiatives within an organization.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively explain information and engage diverse audiences.
  • Able to convince, engage, and win internal and external stakeholders for the topic of Data & AI.
  • Emotionally intelligent and loves to work with people from different domains, roles, and backgrounds.
