About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data & AI Coach to join our team at BASF Digital Solutions S.L. as a key member of our Artificial Intelligence (AI) Enablement team. As a Data & AI Coach, you will play a vital role in driving the AI transformation at BASF and empowering employees with AI skills and competencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Exceptional Training Sessions: Design and deliver theoretical and hands-on coaching and training sessions to employees of varying levels, domains, and backgrounds, focusing on data analysis, machine learning, and AI applications.
  • Facilitate Practical Training: Facilitate practical training sessions in data analysis, machine learning, and AI applications, ensuring participants gain hands-on experience and practical skills.
  • Curriculum Development: Assist in the development and refinement of the academy's curriculum based on participant needs and industry trends, ensuring it remains up-to-date and effective.
  • Participant Progress Monitoring: Monitor and assess participant progress, providing constructive feedback and personalized guidance to ensure participants achieve their goals.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with the academy team to ensure the program is effective, engaging, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Post-Program Support: Contribute to the design and implementation of post-program support and resources, ensuring participants continue to develop their skills and apply them in their roles.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in Data and AI and change management, applying this knowledge to enhance the program and support participants.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology with a focus on Data Analysis, Data Science, or Data Engineering, or a related field, with at least 4-5 years of work experience in a similar role. Alternatively, a Master's degree or PhD in a related field with at least 1 year of non-academic work experience in a similar role.
  • Teaching Experience: Prior teaching experience is advantageous, but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and AI concepts, proficiency in Python, and good understanding of requirements and learning needs in data-driven business use cases.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively explain information and engage diverse audiences.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Emotionally intelligent and able to work with people from different domains, roles, and backgrounds.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English.
Nice to Have
  • Corporate Upskilling and Adult Learning: Familiarity with corporate upskilling and adult learning principles.
  • Training Program Design: Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
  • Learning Management Systems: Knowledge of learning management systems.
  • Global Experience: Experience in a global, multicultural setting.
  • Language Skills: Conversational language skills in further languages, ideally German.
