Clinical Development Technology Roadmap Director

Job Summary
Novartis is seeking a highly skilled IT leader to drive the technology roadmap for Clinical Development. As a senior IT business partner, you will be responsible for partnering with clinical development stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver innovative technology solutions to support the development of high-value medicines.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the clinical development organization and its technology landscape. You will be responsible for defining and delivering the technology roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes, and providing thought leadership on emerging trends and technologies.
Key Accountabilities
- Partner with clinical development stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver technology solutions to support the development of high-value medicines.
- Define and deliver the technology roadmap for clinical development, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging trends and technologies, identifying opportunities to leverage innovation and drive business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or information technology discipline.
- Advanced degree and related accreditations a plus.
- 12+ years of experience in business partnering and delivering IT solutions in the pharma industry or similar industries.
- 5+ years of experience with end-to-end development processes and IT landscape and technologies across functional areas.
