As a GIS Specialist Drafter at AECOM, you will play a critical role in supporting the GIS element of major projects in a multi-disciplinary environment. You will provide consultancy to internal and external clients to understand their needs and provide solutions. Your responsibilities will include supporting projects in Spain and other regions, performing multiple tasks concurrently within strict timeframes, and ensuring quality standards on project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the GIS element of major projects in a multi-disciplinary environment.
* Provide consultancy to internal and external clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
* Support projects in Spain and other regions when required.
* Perform multiple tasks concurrently within strict timeframes, scope/budget/schedule expectations, and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or master's degree in GIS/Geospatial services, Geography, Computer Science, or a related technical field with emphasis on geographic information systems (GIS).
* Fluency in English and Spanish writing and verbal.
* Minimum of two years of experience as a GIS Technician.
* Ability to work with CAD and to understand BIM/GIS interfaces.
