Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Pre-Sales Engineer and play a key role in driving new sales and building strong customer relationships. You will collaborate closely with the Sales Team and Account Management team to understand prospective customers' technical requirements, and provide technical expertise of PVcase product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our PVcase software portfolio and stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and support to the sales team and account managers.
  • Translate customer requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the alignment of our solutions with customer needs.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to effectively communicate the features, benefits, and value proposition of our solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers and new business opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering technical presentations, demonstrations, documents, and other technical sales-related materials.
  • Work closely with the sales team to address customer inquiries, technical concerns, and objections.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a pre-sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably within the solar energy industry or similar field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of utility-scale solar engineering solutions (C&I; roof mount solutions, energy modeling, and GIS is a plus).
  • Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage prospective customers and convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, project management, and operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in an agile and fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time to attend events, visit customers, or PVcase offices.
