### Job Title: Research Data Manager

### Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Data Manager to join our team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. As a Research Data Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accessibility, usability, integrity, and security of biomedical data throughout its lifecycle in different projects.

### Key Responsibilities

* Participate in data management planning for research projects, including data storage, backup, and archiving strategies.
* Facilitate data sharing and collaboration among research teams, both within the organization and with external partners.
* Implement and promote best practices in data stewardship and management, ensuring data is findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR).
* Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
* Provide training and support to researchers on data management best practices and tools.

### Requirements

* MSc in data science, bioinformatics, or a related field.
* Alternatively, demonstrated experience in data management and stewardship.
* Essential knowledge and professional experience in data stewardship and research data management.
* Familiarity with FAIR data principles and best practices in data quality management.
* Familiarity with data analysis with R, Python, or SQL.
* Understanding of the regulatory requirements related to biomedical data management.

### Additional Requirements

* Fluency in spoken and written English.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
