Job Title: Research Data Manager - Biomedical Data Stewardship

Join the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) as a Research Data Manager - Biomedical Data Stewardship and contribute to the development of innovative data management solutions for biomedical research.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Data Manager to join our team in the Life Sciences Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in data management planning for research projects, facilitating data sharing and collaboration among research teams, and implementing best practices in data stewardship and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures
  • Provide training and support to researchers on data management best practices and tools
  • Collaborate with research teams to ensure data is findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR)
  • Implement and promote best practices in data stewardship and management
Requirements:
  • MSc in data science, bioinformatics, or a related field
  • Experience in data stewardship and research data management
  • Familiarity with FAIR data principles and best practices in data quality management
  • Familiarity with data analysis with R, Python, or SQL
