About the Role

The Institut Josep Carreras (IJC) is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the Marie Skłodowska Curie Doctoral Training Network (DN) NUCLEAR. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the research and training network, ensuring its smooth operation and success.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all management aspects related to the project, including preparation and execution of meetings, agendas, and minutes.
  • Organize and administer all training activities, both virtual and in-person, within the framework of the project.
  • Manage the reporting obligations of the consortium and ensure timely submission of reports to the European Commission.
  • Oversee the financial and legal aspects of the project, including budget control and reporting.
  • Establish and implement quality procedures, including risk management and feedback processes.
  • Coordinate and document the communication and dissemination activities of the network in collaboration with the Communications Units of each beneficiary.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in Life Sciences, with a PhD highly valued.
  • Previous research experience and interest in metabolism, cancer, and epigenetics.
  • Experience in project management, ideally in European projects MSCA of the Horizon 2020 or Horizon Europe framework programmes.
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and communicative with excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English, with knowledge of Spanish and/or Catalan a plus.

  • A temporary contract of initially 54 months, extendable subject to additional funding.
