As a Purchasing Manager, you will oversee the Company's Purchasing Department, responsible for implementing the company's purchasing policy and adapting it to changing market conditions.
This role involves managing and coordinating all processes related to the supply of materials, goods, and services involved in production processes, as well as performing continuous market analysis and ongoing search for new supply sources to improve the Company's competitiveness and independence.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the purchasing policy and strategy to optimize costs and improve supply efficiency.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet defined quality, reliability, ethics, and sustainability standards.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with selected suppliers to achieve defined objectives.
- Collaborate with operational areas to understand needs and adapt purchasing activities.
- Conduct market analysis to anticipate trends, price fluctuations, and significant variations in supply and demand.
- Develop and implement KPIs to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and integrate Purchasing teams across production units in EMEA.
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a Bachelor's in Chemical Sciences.
- 7+ years of experience managing the Planning department in multinational companies.
- Negotiation skills, communication abilities, and strong team management capacity.
- English proficiency, with other languages a plus.
- SAP and Excel skills.
