Job Title: QA Test Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Test Director to lead and manage a team of QA testers, ensuring the highest level of quality in our video game products. As a QA Test Director, you will oversee the testing process from inception to release, implementing strategies to identify and resolve issues, and maintaining our commitment to delivering exceptional gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of QA testers, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies tailored to each game project, ensuring thorough coverage of all aspects including functionality, performance, compatibility, and usability.
  • Oversee the execution of test plans, coordinating testing efforts across multiple platforms and environments to identify and report defects accurately and efficiently.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices throughout the testing process, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify potential risks and prioritize testing efforts to mitigate them, collaborating with development teams to address critical issues in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
  • Serve as a liaison between QA, development, and other cross-functional teams, providing regular updates on testing progress, issues, and resolutions.
  • Analyze test results and metrics to assess product quality and performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to coordinate release schedules and ensure smooth and successful product launches.

  • Experience with quality assurance processes and methodologies, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements, with the ability to ensure adherence to these standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
