Job Title: Airport Development Manager

Are you a seasoned professional looking for a new challenge in the aviation industry? Do you have a passion for airport development and a keen eye for detail? We are seeking an experienced Airport Development Manager to join our team at Volotea.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and assist in negotiations with airports, tourism boards, and institutions to develop and implement airport development strategies.
  • Control and follow up on all cost-related aspects of airport development, working closely with the Strategy, Network Planning, Country Managers, Financial, Operations, and Procurement teams.
  • Assist in the coordination of different types of tenders across all markets, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the contract process with line managers to ensure timely and effective contract signature and follow-up, including incentives and monthly/yearly evaluations.
  • Assist in co-marketing agreements negotiations and promote the network to improve notoriety across markets.
  • Work closely with the Legal, Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure full alignment and consistency in the implementation of different initiatives.
  • Assist in the coordination of communications for the launch of new routes with Country Managers.
  • Prospect for new airports to find new business opportunities with the Network and Strategy team.
  • Support all other daily tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Master's in Management and/or Business Development.
  • More than 3 years' experience in Business/Airline/Airport development Roles or Procurement, with experience in airlines and/or Network/Strategy highly valued.
  • Excellent English speaker.
  • Spanish, French, and/or Italian fluency is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Office package.
  • Very organized.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
