We are seeking a highly skilled IT Application Support Analyst to join our team at BOARD Deutschland GmbH in Madrid. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and availability of our finance systems worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide high-quality technical assistance to internal business users, ensuring that agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Application Performance Optimization: Perform daily, monthly, and periodic checks on applications and systems to optimize uptime and deliver outputs in a timely manner.
- System Enhancements: Work with technology teams to communicate system upgrades and patches, and diagnose any application or system issues.
- Incident Management: Triage defects, identify potential fixes, and manage incidents through to resolution, communicating with business users until the issue is resolved.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain technical support guides, service catalogues, and other relevant documentation.
- Communication: Ensure effective communication is in place to manage incidents and system downtime to the business user community.
- Reporting: Attend Service Reviews and Operational review meetings, supporting with reporting requirements and chairing meetings when required.
- Experience: Previous experience working in an application support capacity for finance systems.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Oracle NetSuite ERP.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, team player with good interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure, keen eye for detail, good analytical and problem-solving skills, strong service-driven mentality, and a pragmatic approach.
