Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Applications Specialist II to join our Life Sciences Solutions Group (LSG). As a key member of our team, you will provide pre- and post-sales technical support for our sequencing portfolio, particularly Ion Torrent Next Generation Sequencing instrumentation and Oncomine and AmpliSeq applications, software, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for NGS products and workflows by answering customer technical inquiries via various channels.
  • Collaborate with various experts within our organization to address technical issues or problems when warranted.
  • Work with Clinical Application Scientists and Field Application Scientists to ensure effective support for Ion and Oncomine Assays.
  • Collaborate on customer projects, providing technical expertise and clinical insights to enhance the implementation and utilization of our NGS platforms.
  • Accurately record pertinent information from customer contacts in our Customer Relationship Management system and assist in the development of continuous improvement.
  • Gather commercial and technological trends and convert them into technical tips, create FAQs, and work on troubleshooting guides.
  • Recommend changes to our knowledge databases, websites, and other company-managed resources of technical information.
  • Present technical updates to colleagues and contribute to our department meetings.

Requirements

This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days onsite in one of our locations. No relocation assistance will be provided.
