About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned software engineer with a passion for edge computing and a strong background in software development. As a Principal Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing complex software systems, leading architecture discussions, and mentoring junior engineers. Your expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, and Java will be invaluable in shaping our edge computing platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop platform services using Kubernetes and AWS
  • Lead architecture discussions and make technical decisions
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on software development best practices
  • Ensure the software stack integrates with our CI/CD pipeline and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Take ownership of specific platform components or services and define requirements based on developer needs
Requirements
  • 10+ years of hands-on industry experience as a software engineer
  • Experience providing leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Strong understanding of edge computing, Kubernetes, and AWS
  • Expertise in Java and Spring Boot
  • Secure infrastructure as code provisioning experience or strong knowledge
