Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for our Intelligent Automation Platform, driving the architecture and technology specifications.
- Formulate strategies for Cloud Microservices and Data & AI/ML platforms that align with the goals of our Industrial Print business.
- Lead the charge in understanding industry trends and implications on our business, working closely with fellow Architects and Product Owners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote the utilization of Cloud, Data, and AI/ML platforms and define requirements for new software or applications.
- Influence the creation of a revamped Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) focused on delivering high-quality software and data products.
- Guide long-term planning for platforms, cloud services, and solutions, ensuring cohesive alignment and collaboration across all units of Industrial Print businesses.
- Develop and execute an API strategy for software products related to the Industrial Print domain, expanding our external Developer Program.
- Serve as the principal technical contact for outside collaborators, assessing their capabilities and technology quality.
- Participate in the critical appraisal of strategic partners and define the framework for interactions, including joint development endeavors and minority investments.
- Partner with the software engineering team to determine development and DevOps aspects, including technology selection and coding practices.
- Supervise the development team's progression to ensure software meets excellence standards, scalability, upgradeability, security, and regulatory conformity.
- Offer technical mentorship, training, and guidance to developers, fostering events and learning opportunities.
- Act as an intermediary with other HP entities to ensure strategies and applications are harmonized across the company.
- Possess a Master's degree or equivalent in Software Engineering or a related field.
- Have over ten years' experience in crafting cloud solutions, employing agile methodologies and DevOps primarily on AWS.
- More than a decade of expertise in data engineering, managing data lakes, and operating extensive big data systems pertaining to device telemetry.
- Seasoned in generative AI technologies, development cycles, and their application in business.
- Versed in different development methodologies, including outsourcing, partnered co-development, and cultivating strategic partnerships.
- Proven adeptness in engagement, communication, and persuasion across varied organizational levels.
- Strong team building and leadership ability, capable of guiding interdisciplinary groups through intricate technical challenges.
- Recognized skill in mentoring and swaying engineering groups, acknowledged as a thought leader for advanced computing technologies and trends.
- Acquainted with intellectual property and patenting processes, ideally as an authority on the industry IP landscape for data pipelines.
