About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to lead our engineering team in delivering innovative software solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software components that meet our product requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the creation of architectures that align with project roadmaps, platform strategies, and governance policies.
  • Advise projects on technology and architecture trends to inform decision-making and external engagements.
  • Identify and aid in decision-making around architecture trade-offs, considering risks, delivery, scalability, performance, flexibility, maintainability, security, and other quality concerns.
  • Monitor and review systems to ensure compliance with corporate security, privacy, accessibility, legal, and other governance policies.
  • Share knowledge of architecture and technologies with the development team and promote collaboration using Scrum methodologies.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Tech Lead or similar position, with 10 years in the software engineering sector.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns (Java).
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles, including hexagonal architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Knowledge of techniques like Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and/or Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Clean Architecture.
  • Experience creating and maintaining automated unit tests, integration tests, and builds.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and lead refactoring strategies.
  • Effective communication in English.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Agile development practices, especially Scrum and SAFe.
  • Frontend development experience, especially with React.
  • Experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions.
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins).
  • Knowledge of containerization orchestrators like Kubernetes.
  • Experience managing large amounts of data (Data-intensive Applications).
  • Recent use of JIRA.
