Refrigeration Specialist

Amazon is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing expert support and guidance to drive safety, performance, and maintenance of refrigeration systems across a portfolio of sites. The Refrigeration Specialist will be responsible for utilizing advanced monitoring tools and software platforms to remotely monitor the performance and operational parameters of industrial refrigeration systems. This includes monitoring key metrics such as temperature, pressure, energy consumption, and system alarms to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remote Monitoring: Utilize advanced monitoring tools and software platforms to remotely monitor the performance and operational parameters of industrial refrigeration systems.
  • Alarm Management: Respond promptly to system alarms and alerts, investigating the root cause of any deviations from normal operating conditions.
  • Coordination with RME Teams: Coordinate with on-site RME teams to address alarms and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain system integrity.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data collected from monitoring systems to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues with refrigeration system performance.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Work closely with the teams Scheduler and on-site RME personnel to schedule preventive maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for industrial refrigeration systems.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in industrial refrigeration systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles, equipment, and components.
  • Familiarity with remote monitoring tools and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
