Refrigeration Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Specialist to join our Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert support and guidance to drive safety, performance, and maintenance of refrigeration systems across a portfolio of sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remote Monitoring: Utilize advanced monitoring tools and software platforms to remotely monitor the performance and operational parameters of industrial refrigeration systems across multiple sites.
  • Alarm Management: Respond promptly to system alarms and alerts, investigating the root cause of any deviations from normal operating conditions. Coordinate with on-site RME teams to address alarms and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain system integrity.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data collected from monitoring systems to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues with refrigeration system performance. Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Work closely with the team's Scheduler and on-site RME personnel to schedule preventive maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for industrial refrigeration systems. Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to operations while ensuring compliance with maintenance schedules and best practices.

This role requires a strong understanding of refrigeration systems, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
