Chief Data Strategist

We are a leading global automotive supplier with over 70 years of experience in designing, manufacturing, and supplying innovative solutions for vehicles worldwide. Our product portfolio includes trim, headliners, acoustic systems, lighting, and other interior systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's data strategy to harness the value of data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build the company's data architecture, including models, schemas, databases, data warehouses, and data integration systems.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, developers, and other stakeholders to understand and meet their data needs.
• Evaluate and select the most appropriate technologies, tools, and methodologies for data handling, considering data performance, scalability, security, and quality.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for data architecture, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Implement and monitor data governance best practices, ensuring compliance with regulations and business requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A degree in Engineering and a specialization in Big Data or Business Intelligence.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in positions related to data management and analytics, with a deep understanding of data-related technologies and tools.
• Ability to analyze data and turn it into useful information for decision-making.
• The ability to adapt to an ever-changing business environment and embrace new technologies and approaches.
• Experience in managing large volumes of data, Big Data.
• Expertise in technologies such as Synapse, Spark, Fabric, Azure.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or SQL to develop scripts and applications that handle data.
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, Talend, or similar tools.
• Interest in the industry and in adding value through data.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various departments.
• Ability to identify strategic opportunities and develop initiatives that generate a positive impact on the business.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your level of experience.
