We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Iberia team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for leading accounting activities, including financial statement preparation and optimization of accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly financial statements for Iberia.
- Collaborate with the Head of Accounting to optimize accounting processes and ensure compliance with group policies.
- Oversee the general ledger and all sub-ledgers, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Provide financial expertise to internal departments, auditors, and tax authorities, and manage reporting activities for Iberian entities.
- Supervise internal controlling activities, including budgeting, headcount management, and IC transactions.
- Perform financial instrument valuations and bookings, and prepare ad-hoc reports as required.
- Minimum five years of experience in leading accounting roles, preferably in the renewables/energy sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration, or Economics.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and tax law, with IFRS experience an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and experience in ERP system development, with Business Central experience an advantage.
- Excellent communication, team, and commitment skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
