About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shared Service Centre Specialist to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our Policy Servicing Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service delivery and accuracy in reviewing instructions, booking premiums, and preparing policy documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits and quality control checks to ensure the highest standards of delivery and accuracy.
  • Book premiums onto business systems within agreed service level agreements.
  • Prepare policy documentation within agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Produce system over limit reports and daily SOX reporting for team leader sign-off.
  • Monitor and review outsourced work elements, identify problems or inefficiencies, and track root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee delivery of contract certainty requirements for both retained and outsourced bookings.
  • Undertake processing and control of broker closings and other underwriting support activities.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of processes and adopt an ethos of continuous review to improve, error-proof, automate, simplify, clarify, and eradicate non-value process steps.
  • Assist credit control with management of credit referrals within agreed limits of authority.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Native/bilingual level in Dutch.
  • Business level of English.
  • Experience in a processing role, particularly in following written instructions, data entry, and document/report drafting.
  • Strong customer service skills and customer-centric attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and desire to deliver and improve quality.
  • Problem resolution and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as on own initiative.
