We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to join our team at the Trustees of University of Pennsylvania. As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients in a Pediatric Inpatient Setting and the Emergency Department
- Supervise clinical providers, including resident physicians, and provide performance feedback
- Continuously review current pediatric standards of care and implement new processes as needed
- Respond to clinical alerts and updates from public health officials and others
- M.D. degree from an accredited Medical School
- License to practice medicine without restriction or limitation in Pennsylvania
- DEA licensure
- 0-1 year of work experience in a related medical field
This position requires extensive safety training and the use of protective devices. The physical demands of this role include occasional lifting of 24-50 pounds, typically standing or walking, and intermittently sitting/standing/stooping.
