Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at the Perelman School of Medicine. As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, treat, and manage patients in a pediatric inpatient setting and the emergency department.
  • Supervise clinical providers, including resident physicians, and provide performance feedback.
  • Continuously review current pediatric standards of care and work with leadership to implement new processes as needed.
  • Respond to clinical alerts and updates from public health officials and others.
Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with a strong educational background and relevant experience in pediatric medicine. The ideal candidate will possess a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree and be licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania. Board certification in pediatrics is also required.

Working Conditions

This position requires extensive safety training and the use of protective devices. The physical demands of this role include occasional lifting of 24-50 pounds, typically standing or walking, and intermittently sitting/standing/stooping.
