Job Summary

The Director of Rehabilitation and Operations is a key leadership position at Granada Rehabilitation & Wellness Center, LP, responsible for overseeing the internal departmental communication and operations of the rehabilitation department. This role plays a critical part in facilitating and coordinating patient care, ensuring quality assurance, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Departmental Operations
    • Develop and maintain systems that enhance the facility's approach to interdisciplinary care, ensuring compliance with facility policies, procedures, clinical standards, and protocols.
    • Implement new patient programs in accordance with facility policies, ensuring timely evaluation and treatment of patients in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
    • Manage the use of computerized systems to optimize data quality and maximize therapist efficiency.
  • Financial Performance
    • Monitor and improve the financial performance of the rehab department, ensuring that facility standards are consistently observed.
    • Achieve and maintain revenue, productivity, and gross profit margin goals.
    • Assist in the development of the annual budget and manage key operations and financial levers to achieve budget projections.
  • Census Development and Marketing
    • Contribute effectively to the census development and marketing efforts of the facility, managing key relationships with hospital therapists, physicians, and other key referral sources.
  • Staff Development and Quality Assurance
    • Contribute to the professional development of self and rehabilitation staff, maintaining current professional status and licensure, and adhering to professional standards of conduct and clinical code of ethics.
    • Develop and implement in-service orientation schedules, maintain a current body of knowledge in areas of clinical expertise, and meet continuing education requirements of regulatory agencies.
  • Facility Culture and Safety
    • Aid in building and maintaining a positive facility culture as a professional member of the staff, consistently demonstrating positive core values and professional standards.
    • Ensure compliance with facility and regulatory safety practices, identifying and correcting safety hazards, and maintaining work areas in a safe and orderly fashion.
