Satellite Operations Specialist

Responsabilidades

  • Realizar todas las actividades necesarias para operar satélites en órbita baja terrestre (LEO).
  • Apoyar el desarrollo de tareas de operaciones de misión.
  • Entender las herramientas subyacentes utilizadas para la operación de satélites, la red de tierra, la planificación de la misión, la dinámica de vuelo y otras aplicaciones utilizadas para operar y gestionar la constelación de satélites.
  • Realizar tareas planificadas para la operación de satélites LEO desde el Centro de Operaciones en un entorno de turno.
  • Coordinar con el satélite y la red de tierra para configurar el equipo de tierra para ejecutar contactos programados con el satélite (antes, durante y después del paso).
  • Realizar procedimientos de satélite y subir comandos de satélite según el calendario de planificación de contactos y verificar la respuesta del satélite.
  • Monitorear y procesar datos de telemetría del satélite y monitorear el estado de salud de los subsistemas del satélite.
  • Mantener la conciencia de situación de la configuración y el estado del satélite y la estación de tierra.
  • Responder a alarmas de satélite, sistemas de tierra y red.
  • Proporcionar apoyo de triaje a anomalías de satélite y sistemas de tierra, recopilar datos, llamar a ingenieros y apoyar al equipo de resolución de anomalías según sea necesario.
  • Operar herramientas de software de operaciones de SOC.
  • Participar en briefings diarios de turno.
  • Ayudar al desarrollo de productos de misión, incluyendo el desarrollo de procedimientos, pruebas y validación.
  • Ayudar a la preparación de sistemas, planificación y preparación para el lanzamiento de satélites.
  • Asistir a sesiones de entrenamiento requeridas y rutinarias, simulaciones, ensayos, conferencias y revisiones de programa.

Requisitos

  • Título de grado en Ingeniería Aeronáutica o Ciencias, Tecnología, Ingeniería o Matemáticas.
  • No se requiere experiencia.
  • Habilidades de comunicación oral y escrita excelentes en inglés.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en un equipo con individuos diversificados con antecedentes variados para lograr el éxito de la misión.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno con requisitos de sistema en constante evolución.
