Job Overview:

Amazon is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to support our European Data Center infrastructure growth initiatives.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams to drive the implementation and deployment of data center expansion projects to meet the demands of our rapidly growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Break down large, complex projects into manageable pieces.
  • Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote teams.
  • Manage interface between internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of Data Center projects.
  • Build and maintain overall delivery program and project budget.
  • Work with Capacity Planning, Energy, and Real Estate teams to develop short & long-term build strategies to meet forecast demand.
  • Support continuous process improvement through leading workflow updates, documenting & implementing lessons learned, and sharing knowledge across delivery teams.
  • Regularly report to senior leadership on status of key project metrics.

Requirements:

Up to 25% travel is envisaged within EMEA.

The role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to lead multi-discipline, highly technical physical infrastructure project teams.

The successful candidate will partner with various stakeholder teams during data center delivery, including Real Estate, Energy, Design Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management, and Operations.
