About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple competing cross-organizational projects/programs simultaneously, some on a global scale. You will interact with engineers, technicians, project managers, and senior management on a daily basis, running meetings, creating and maintaining timelines, and keeping large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple competing cross-organizational projects/programs simultaneously, some on a global scale
  • Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers, and senior management on a daily basis
  • Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles
  • Work with engineers to develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems, while keeping a watchful eye on timelines and costs
  • Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow-up
  • Drive simplification efforts in engineering and project/program management and architectures to unblock innovation
  • Create predictable process paths for large and/or complex efforts

Requirements
  • 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
  • Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (i.e., network, data center, hardware, software)
  • Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
  • Network capacity build and data center builds
