**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Infrastructure Manager to join our EMEA Energy and Water team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the scaling and growth of our Data Centre network across EMEA.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage design consultants and contractual drafting to develop and document requirements, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Lead remote project delivery teams from design through to construction, facilitating technical whiteboard sessions to troubleshoot project implementation issues and remove barriers to project success.
  • Multitask and re-prioritize to effectively lead deliveries based on ever-changing business needs.
  • Build and maintain overall delivery program and project budget, submitting Capital Allocation Requests to secure finance for project delivery.
  • Prepare investment need/business case papers to secure internal funding for water reinforcement projects to secure water supply and discharges.

**Day-to-Day Activities**

  • Liaise with a wide range of regulators and external stakeholders, including water utilities, environmental agencies, health departments, and construction contractors.
  • Utilize project management tools and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Regularly report to senior leadership on the status of key project metrics versus commitment.
  • Ensure construction standards are followed and national construction regulations are complied with.
  • Create detailed planning packs to build scalable and future-proof water infrastructure.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil Engineering, Economics, or Business.
