About the Role:

The EMEA Energy and Water team is seeking a Water Infrastructure Manager to support the scaling and growth of our Data Centre network. This role will involve driving the development, implementation, and construction of new water infrastructure projects.

As a Water Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for managing design consultants, contractual drafting, and project schedules. You will also lead remote project delivery teams and facilitate technical whiteboard sessions to troubleshoot project implementation issues.

This is a unique opportunity to join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You will collaborate with people across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage design consultants, contractual drafting, and project schedules
  • Lead remote project delivery teams and facilitate technical whiteboard sessions
  • Multitask and re-prioritize to effectively lead deliveries based on ever-changing business needs
  • Build and maintain overall delivery program and project budget
  • Prepare investment need/business case papers to secure internal funding for water reinforcement projects
