About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead construction projects in our Madrid, Spain office. As a key member of our Siemens S.A. team, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of planning and executing construction projects, ensuring project timelines, costs, and continuity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including construction firms, architects, and project controllers.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Ensure compliance with local construction standards and safety regulations in Spain.
    • Collaborate with authorities and external partners to ensure project completion.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and manage external teams and stakeholders.
    • Prepare and conduct decision-making meetings, management presentations, and external communications.
  • Customer Focus
    • Coordinate customer and tenant needs.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Education
    • University degree in construction engineering or architecture.
  • Experience
    • Over 10 years of experience in project management and organizing large office/R&D construction projects (> €60 million).
  • Skills
    • Expertise in incorporating design criteria during the construction phase.
    • Strong sustainability and innovation focus.
    • Effective management and decision-making skills.
    • Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills.
    • Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM).
